EVERELMUS

Everelmus is Bruges at its most intimate. Set within an early 18th-century townhouse overlooking the Dijver, this boutique B&B feels more like a refined private home than a place to stay. Carefully restored, it preserves the patina of history while introducing contemporary comfort with a light, assured touch— where UNESCO-listed heritage meets quiet luxury. Behind the classic brick façade, original larch parquet floors and historic block-printed wallpaper sit alongside restrained modern design. A light-filled salon opens onto canal views, while a rare walled garden offers a secluded refuge in the heart of the old town, ideal for breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine at dusk. With just four individually designed rooms, named after pig ments of the Flemish Primitives, Everelmus remains deliberately personal. Fine linens by Valérie Barkowski, custom-made beds and elegant bathrooms complete interiors that feel calm, cul tured and considered.
